How it works
Step 1
You say what you want to talk about
A topic from the list — travel, business, a job interview — or whatever you like, in your own words: "telling someone about my trip to Japan", "getting ready for Monday's meeting". You also choose whether to just talk or to push on grammar, vocabulary or oral exam practice.
Step 2
The teacher walks into the room
You press “Join the class”, the browser asks for your microphone, and that is it: your teacher is on the other end, waiting. They take under a minute to arrive. You talk to them like you would to anyone: they listen, they answer, and they correct you as you go, without stopping the conversation to teach you grammar.
Step 3
You get the report
When it ends you get it in writing: what went well, what to fix and — this is the part that matters — what to say instead. With your four scores for the day and the full transcript, in case you want to go back over it.
Step 4
The next class remembers this one
The mistakes you make are tagged and go into the next class: the teacher watches for them without announcing it. When you have gone two classes without making one, we tell you. That is what makes this a teacher and not a chatbot.

And the line going up
Four measures per class — fluency, accuracy, vocabulary and interaction — scored against what is expected at your level, not in the abstract. After a few weeks the chart tells you whether you are improving, which is the question nobody can answer when they study alone.

Languages and levels
From scratch up to C2: if you cannot even say hello yet, the starter course is a class in your own language where the teacher gives you your first words. The teacher adjusts how it speaks to whichever level you have active, and you can change it whenever you like.

Starter
Starts from nothing: knows no more than a stray word of the language and cannot put a sentence together. The class is held in the student's own language — the teacher gives them their first words and phrases, how they sound and what order they go in, and has them say each one back.

A1
Can introduce themselves, say where they are from and describe their routine in very simple sentences, and answer direct questions if spoken to slowly.

Can get by in predictable everyday situations — shopping, directions, ordering in a bar — and describe past events in short sentences.

B1
Can hold a conversation on familiar topics, tell a story in some detail, explain their plans and justify an opinion simply. Gets stuck once the subject leaves familiar ground.

B2
Can discuss abstract or current topics fluently, argue a position, and handle an unexpected complication without switching languages. Makes mistakes, but they do not get in the way of being understood.

C1
Speaks fluently and precisely, qualifies what they say, uses idiom naturally and adapts register to the situation. Errors are occasional.

Commands the language with the precision of an educated native speaker: irony, register, nuance and complex structures with no apparent effort.

Open a course and say who it is for. The teacher uses their name from the first hello, and their history, their level and their chart stay separate from yours.
A link, and that is it
Prepare the class with your notes — “speak slowly”, “make him use the past tense” — and send a link. They open it, press start and talk. No sign-up, no password, and no need for your phone.
Good for one class: when it ends, the link stops working. The report comes to you.

You buy classes, not a subscription. Every pack is whole classes of 45 minutes — the longest a class can run — and the bigger the pack, the cheaper the class.

Underneath, you pay by the minute spoken: 2 credits a minute, so a full class of 45 minutes is 90. A class sets its own aside when it starts and gives back whatever you do not spend, so if you have to leave after twelve minutes you pay for twelve. The written exercises between classes cost nothing.
